Good Luck Dr. Goodlin! Dr. Goodlin has been nominated for Fellowship in the prestigious International Academy of Dento-Facial esthetics. The review board will be looking at all the Nominations and if selected Dr. Goodlin will be conferred this honour at the Greater New York Dental Meeting in November.

Dr. Goodlin Lectures Abroad! Dr. Goodlin appeared in May at the German Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Conventions where he have a lecture. He then skipped across the English Channel to speak to the Advanced Dental Seminars Group in London, England! In between, Dr. Goodlin and his wife Ricki celebrated her 50th birthday with a few days in Paris! Click here for some photos from his trip!

Congratulations Jessica! Jessica has given birth to a beautiful baby boy! He came a little early but he and mommy are doing great! Jure was born April 15th and was 5 lbs 12 oz. Congratulations Jessica and Ed!

Shaping the Future of Dentistry Dr. Goodlin has been very actively teaching Dentists around the world. Recently he has been in San Francisco, Dallas, London, the International Dental Congress and Brampton. Dr. Goodlin recently had 30 Dentists attend his office for in-office training. As President of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (the only Canadian on the Board!) Dr. Goodlin remains very active in shaping the future of Dentistry.

Dr. Goodlin elected President of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry The Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry is Canada's largest cosmetic Dentistry organization with over 400 members. Dr. Goodlin took over as President in May 2008 and has been elected to a 2 year term

Dr. Goodlin's Lecture Schedule 08/09 Dr. Goodlin is finalizing this year’s lecture schedule which will take him to Dallas Texas, Hawaii and Hamburg Germany as well as several more local venues ...stay tuned for photos of his recent travels

Higher Education! Dr. Goodlin’s daughter Lindsay has moved to California where she is doing her fellowship at U Cal Berkeley.

On A Sad Note Condolences to the family and friends of Gary Kirshenbaum who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in July. He will be very sadly missed.

Already Planning the Next Step! We have completed the renovations to the hygiene rooms and we are already planning the next step! Dr. Goodlin is hosting an in house educational night for the Dentists of the TACD where he will be demonstrating some of the latest cosmetic dentistry techniques October 28th...

No Cure for Cancer ...Yet! Amanda is working on it! Dr. Goodlin’s daughter Amanda is now doing her PhD in Cancer research at Princess Margaret Hospital. With her working on the problem we are all convinced there will be a breakthrough to report really soon!

Aurora Home Show Smiles Dental is planning to be part of the Aurora Home show this year, stay tuned for further details!

Smiles is Expecting A Visitor! Dr. Frank Spear, from Seattle Washington, one of the worlds’ leading clinicians and teacher of Cosmetic Dentistry will be visiting with Dr. Goodlin in September when he is here lecturing to the Dentists in Toronto. They will be having dinner at Canoe as Dr. Goodlin’s daughter Jackie still works there one evening per week... (Congratulations Jackie on becoming the assistant photo editor in the art department of Canadian House and Home magazine!)

Buy Stock in Ear Plugs! Dr. Goodlin has picked up the guitar once again....that whaling sound you may hear from the neighborhood may be him jamming with his son Ryan. We have been told Shoppers Drug Mart in Aurora will be ordering an extra supply of ear plugs to keep up with demand!

Welcome Tashia! Tashia has joined our staff, her bubbly and fun personality is a great asset to our team. She is married and has two big Bouvier puppy dogs. Tashia is also a York Region auxiliary police officer in her spare time!

First Prize... Dr. Goodlin entered a Photography competition recently as part of the Greater Toronto Camera Clubs, and won first prize for FACES in the Richmond Hill Chapter.
